About Ravi
Ravi loves a challenge and in a local and global environment where our resources, space and investment are increasingly scarce, he is driven to extract the most out of our transport infrastructure. He works proactively with the project team and stakeholders to ensure the problem is well-defined and understood from the outset, such that appropriate requirements are adopted and the outcomes balance the wider needs of society. This outcomes-driven approach flows through his technical work, questioning the way we approach and solve problems. Leveraging his proficiency in data analytics has assisted him in developing bespoke processes and models to better align with project needs.
Ravi believes everyone's transport journey starts the moment they walk out their front door, and as such pedestrian planning and modelling are critical to influencing the way and where we travel – whether it be to commute or for leisure. With this in mind, he has provided advice and analysis to prioritise and justify investment at a precinct or regional level through to microsimulation modelling to inform detailed design and operational plans.
